Wildlife Part 1

BELOW: This was my first wildlife shot taken with my Nikon D80 in Vermont. The two birdies were hanging on a branch "bickering" in a funny way.

This proud duck was swimming in a placid lake in Austria. It did not seemed to be bothered by my presence and stretched and flapped its wings while I was standing less than 2 meters away.

Being a student at Richmond University has one amazing advantage - we live close to Richmond Park, home of the Queen's deer. Even though it is against the law to shoot the deer, nobody arrested me during my hour-long photoshoot. Below are only two images, slightly dark since it was late in the evening when I went out to the park.

These two guys, however, looked very startled when they realized I was invading their personal space.
